Modern Prototyping Tool for UI Designer and UI Engineer to Build Collaboration using Wondershare Mockitt

Hello everyone, how are you guys? I hope you are always fine. If you're new to this channel, my name is Abdul Aziz Ahwan. Usually, I make tutorial videos and productivity tools. So if you want to get insight and to be more productive, please consider subscribing to me.

As a UI Engineer, I translate UI Design or Prototype from a UI Designer to an initial product or MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Good prototyping, straightforward and easy to understand by us is crucial. So, of course, we need the right prototyping tools. But first, we have to know what prototyping is and what it's used for.

What’s Prototyping
Prototyping is an experimental process where design teams implement ideas into tangible forms, from paper to digital. Teams build prototypes of varying degrees of fidelity to capture design concepts and test on users. With prototypes, we can refine and validate our designs so our brand can release the right products.

Remarkable Reason for Prototyping
Prototyping is the fourth phase of both design thinking and design sprints. It’s an essential part of user experience (UX) design that usually comes after ideation, where our team has created and selected ideas that can solve users’ needs.

The advantages of prototyping are that we can reach:
  • Have a solid foundation from which to ideate towards improvements—giving all stakeholders a clear picture of the potential benefits, risks, and costs associated with where a prototype might lead.
  • Can adapt changes early—thereby avoiding commitment to a single, falsely-ideal version, getting stuck on local maxima of UX, and later incurring high costs due to oversights.
  • Show the prototype to our users to give us their feedback to pinpoint which elements/variants work best and whether an overhaul is required.
  • Have a tool to experiment with associated parts of the users’ needs and problems. Therefore, we can get insights into less-obvious areas of the users’ world (e.g., you notice them using it for additional purposes or spot unforeseen accessibility issues such as challenges to mobile users).
  • Provide a sense of ownership to all concerned stakeholders, fostering emotional investment in the product’s ultimate success.
  • Improve time-to-market by minimizing the number of errors to correct before product release.
Low-Fidelity vs. High-Fidelity Prototyping
Fidelity refers to the level of detail and functionality we include in our prototype. The fidelity level we choose should be appropriate for presenting to users in user testing to give focused feedback. Consider the differences:

At this point, it is clear that we need to do prototyping. There's a cool slogan "Not testing your ideas is a great way to fail fast."

Wait, wait, before we talked about prototyping, MVP, and blah blah. But how or what do we do prototyping? There are many tools to do, and of course, there are advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, a good prototyping tool must contain at least three main features, namely.

Prototyping
Design Interactive and Animated Prototypes
Easily design prototypes that illustrate your ideas and enhance your clients' experience.

Libraries
Libraries Full of Assets and Templates
Design prototypes faster using Mockitt's libraries full of built-in UI assets and templates. Create and reuse our own libraries to bring customization into your workflow.

Collaboration
Work Together on the Same Page
Work on the same page as a team and see the changes made by your teammates in real-time.

And of the three main features in Mockitt. Mockitt is a prototyping tool where direct workflow, collaborative teamwork, and rapid prototyping happens.

Time to conclude, so even though this Mockitt is relatively new. But, Mockitt has cool features, from prototyping, libraries, and collaboration. I believe Mockitt can compete with its competitors, considering that this Mockitt is easy to use and suitable for all people, both beginners, and professionals. Also, the price is competitive and is very suitable for companies, both startups and unicorns. So what are you waiting for? I am waiting for you to try this Mockitt.
